I am an Ocean Science enthusiast specializing in physical oceanography, machine learning, Currently, I work as a Senior Research Fellow at INCOIS, Hyderabad, in the Ocean Observation Network Group. My research focuses on understanding oceanic processes, particularly freshwater intrusion, ocean mixing, and salinity variability in the Bay of Bengal.
I have expertise in applying unsupervised classification, Gaussian Mixture Models (GMM), and other machine learning techniques to analyze oceanographic data. My work integrates remote sensing, in-situ observations, and numerical modeling to investigate the impact of freshwater dynamics on ocean circulation and mixing.
Recently, I was awarded 1st Prize at OSICON-2025 (Goa) for my poster presentation on "Unsupervised Classification of Freshwater Profiles in the Bay of Bengal". This recognition highlights my contributions to advancing machine learning applications in oceanography.
I am passionate about interdisciplinary collaboration and developing AI-driven solutions to address critical climate and environmental challenges.
